We had quite the busy week this past week! I'll run ya through it if your interested! :) If not don't read it!
Monday night was of course youth group. We watched The Passion of the Christ in honor of Easter. It was the first time that I saw it and wow was it intense! It is simply amazing what he went through for us.
Tuesday night normally I would work, but we had a meeting at church. Brent and Trina Seigrist were being interviewed by the Allegheny Conference leadership commission for Brent to be our pastor. The board members and elders were invited to be there. After that I went to Tammy's with Alissa and Clarissa. We watched the movie August Rush (great movie by the way) and ate Chinese!! Yum yum!
Wednesday I had an eye doctor appointment. Went good! My eye's actually improved a tad, unfortunately I still have some inflammation from pink eye. blah! So I get to take more drops for that. That night we didn't have too much going on. I got started really cleaning up the house and I tried making rolls for the first time ever. They turned out pretty good, but much improvement can be made. Anyway they were for supper Thurs night.
Thursday...well I had Derek and Brayden during the day. I had a lot of laundry to do...dishes...and cleaning in general. The place wasn't looking to great when Lewis Miller brought the Siegrist's by. Rather embarrassing! They didn't seem to bothered by it luckily. They came for supper anyway so I knew they would see it clean anyway! I did manage to get everything done and they came over around 5:30 for supper. Dan took them outside to look around before it got dark. They seem really interested in buying our house! This would be such a blessing! Supper went well, but right after the electricity went out! I didn't get the dishes done and the rest of the evening was by candle light. It was only out for 3 hours at the most, but it gave me a good excuse to go to bed early for once and I needed it. It was a really busy day and I was soooo tired.
Friday night there was a get together at church to meet the Siegrist's. It was a lot of fun and it was a really great turnout! I think the whole weekend was a success actually!
Saturday morning was the Angel food distribution day. There were about 57 orders plus a bunch of specials. We all had a really good time. The truck was a bit late which was a little awkward as there were people waiting, but it all turned out okay! I worked that Sat. night.
Sunday morning was of course church which I thought went really well! The singing was amazing! I also thought Brent did a really good job with the sermon...even if it was a little long! We had a fellowship meal, which a lot of people stayed for and there was a ton of food! Then the Puppet show was that night at 7. The turn out was awesome! The church was packed!!! The program was really good!
Anyway this next week will be busy as well. The girls will find out about their soccer teams this week! They are really looking forward to soccer!

The Big Move
Well it looks like we won't be living here for too much longer! Dan and I decided that Hesston KS is where God wants us to be right now. Dan is going to be going to Hesston College in the fall and will be in the Pastoral Ministries Program. Dan had told me months ago that he didn't think we should go and it took me a while to accept that...then a month or so after that he said that he thinks we are supposed to go, but he had been fighting it. At that point I basically said tough I'm not going. The past months have been horrible I had such a weight on me. I wasn't at peace in anyway...praying was getting harder and harder...I was fighting God and trying to tell myself that I wasn't. About 3 weeks ago, I just couldn't take it anymore. I wanted to be free from this burden. I talked to Dan and told him what I was feeling and he had been feeling the same way, but was letting me work it out.
We decided we have to go this fall and let me tell you, it is such a relief! I haven't felt this good in a long time! We will probably be leaving the beginning of August. There is a house we can rent that is right beside the college. It is actually a nice size house with a finished basement. It will be so nice to have room! Our house here is almost getting claustrophobic! We are very excited! There will definately be adjustments and it won't all be easy, but it's a challenge.
Now we just have to pray that I can get a decent job that can support us!!!! :)

Well the girls are mostly better. Riley had an ear infection and is almost done the antibiotics. She has been super whiney though...about enough to drive a person crazy! Poor Brayden has to put up with her today too. We have no idea what was wrong with Lexie...we do know it wasn't strep or an ear infection. I have no idea what happens to that girl when she gets sick but she spaces out. I don't know if it's being sick or the antibiotic or something else, but it is just about impossible to get her to do anything. She had been doing so much better. Dan's going to find out today whether or not it's carrying over to school.
Dan and I are trying to work through some decisions. So anyone who is reading this could you please pray for us to hear God and know his plan for us.

Well, it's been a while since I posted anything...we've been really busy! First I wanted to post some pictures. The youth group had a valentines dinner for the sponsors and did an awesome job!! I was so impressed. So here are some pictures from that.
(ok pictures aren't working...will try later)
We really do have a great group of kids in youth group!
I have two sick kids again. Lexie and Riley have both been sick all weekend. So we'll be heading to the doctor this afternoon. I have pink eye in both eyes. Blah! Dan says I look possessed. Plus I'm stuck wearing my glasses for a week! Hopefully none of the girls get it.
I'm so thankful we are in March already!! I love spring! Not that winters over yet by any means, especially considering we just had a huge snow storm this weekend, but I know it's coming!!!! Yay!
This week is full of work and meetings. Not much else happening though.
